New Hope Crystal Plymouth (NHCP) is located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. This swim club is a not-for-profit (501-3C) organization, managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, in collaboration with the Head Coach and Coaching Staff. We are a USA Swim Team with approximately 150 swimmers in seven practice groups. In addition to the Head Coach, NHCP employs a Head Age Group Coach and several assistant coaches. NHCP is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic full-time, year-round Head Coach to lead our team. The position will focus on development of our 13 and over age group, and will provide direction and guidance for the entire swimming program. At NHCP, we believe that "Every Swimmer Counts;" it is important, therefore, that our Head Coach be actively involved in the development of swimmers at all levels of our program. The Head Coach will report directly to the President of the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with a minimum of 3-5 years coaching experience and a demonstrated ability to develop young athletes. The candidate must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and outstanding organizational skills. The candidate must demonstrate effective, respectful communication skills. The candidate must be able to apply positive, consistent, and effective motivation strategies when working with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff. The candidate must also possess computer proficiency in Hy-Tek, MS Word and MS Excel. The candidate should be in good standing with USA Swimming and have all USA Swimming required certifications. Bloomington-Normal Swim Club has an immediate opening for an experienced ASCA Certified Senior Coach, with outstanding leadership, communication, and coaching skills. The Green Bay YMCA Swim Team which is located in Green Bay, WI is seeking 1 or 2 coaches to help coach the age group & developmental programs for the upcoming 2008-2009 season. The Waunakee Rural Aquatic Team (WRAT), of Waunakee, Wisconsin
is a medium size, year round, USA Swimming
team comprised of beginner through senior level swimmers. WRAT is seeking an assistant coach to work
with age-group swimmers. Under the direction of the head coach, the assistant coach will have
responsibility for coaching a swim group(s) including writing workouts and performing related management
activities.
In addition to having a competitive swimming background, candidates should have
knowledge of stroke mechanics, an understanding of competitive swimming skills, a love for swimming,
great desire to work with children, strong communication skills, an ability to interact well with
swimmers, parents, other coaches, and a desire to develop swimmers who have a life-long interest in
swimming. WRAT has been in existence for about 20 years and recently placed 4th overall in division
II of the 2008 Wisconsin State Short Course Championships. Several swimmers have achieved Zone
cuts, and the head coach has been named an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Zones team.

Delta Aquatics is a rapidly growing team, located in Oswego, IL just 50 miles southwest of Chicago. Delta trains daily at the Oswego East High School pool. Just four years old, the pool is an 8 lane, 25 yard facility which includes a 2 lane teaching pool along with a complete timing system and balcony seating. Delta Aquatics is looking for highly motivated Assistant Coaches whose coaching style emphasizes technique to lead and grow our athletes. We are looking for candidates that have high on deck energy, are positive influences on the swimmers, and knowledgeable in the sport of swimming. The ideal candidates will have a strong coaching background, be able to work with athletes of all ages and ability, and be knowledgeable in stroke development and season planning. The candidates must be excited to coach, strong motivators and leaders, as well as effective communicators. Additional skills would include the ability to interact with parents and to assist other aspects of the program. Flexibility in work schedule is required (evenings and weekends), as the position requires attending one to two meets per month in addition to daily practices. Practice times are early evening through the end of the school year and mornings once school is out. Salary is competitive and based on experience, qualification level and role within our staff. Hudson Area Swim Association is a not-for-profit USA-Swimming Club with approximately 80 members split into 6 developmentally based groups, 1 full time coach and two part-time assistant coaches. We are located on the St. Croix River in Hudson, WI, but swim in the Minnesota LSC due to proximity. We are currently seeking an assistant coach to take over the vacancy of our novice coach. Responsibilities will be flexible and dynamic, and we will enthusiastically help the right person develop their skill and knowledge of the sport. The successful candidate will primarily be working with our youngest two groups (6 to 10 year olds), but have the desire and ability to take on one of our other groups when needed. This is a great position for someone looking to get into coaching competitive swimming, or someone with competitive swimming experience looking for an extremely fun way to earn some extra dollars. The average two week cycle would include a maximum of 20 hours, including 10 practice days at 1.5 hours each, and 1 four hour (approximate) meet session on Friday evening, Saturday morning or Sunday morning.
