Assistant Swim Coach

Waunakee Rural Aquatic Team (WRAT), a United States Swimming club is seeking an assistant swimming coach for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.  We are very proud of our coaches as we are the current state champions for small teams in Wisconsin.  Coaching hours will vary but mostly will be M-F after 5:45 pm and some weekends.  WRAT consists of over 120 swimmers, including State, Zone and National qualifiers.  WRAT practices at the wonderful Waunakee Aquatic Center.  Candidate must have strong knowledge of competitive swimming, be enthusiastic, well organized with strong leadership qualities and love working with little kids.  Candidate must have or be willing to obtain lifeguarding and CPR certifications.

Our Fall season will start September 20th.  If you enjoy coaching and would like to be part of a well-organized program with a lot of growth potential then WRAT is the place for you.  Competitive swimming experience a must! The Lake Country Phoenix is looking for an energetic part-time coach to work with developmental swimmers of all ages. Primary responsibilities include acting as lead coach at our novice sessions and assisting in all of our Age Group practice groups. Candidates must enjoy working with kids; have strong verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of competitive swimming. Evening and Saturday AM availability is required. Lake Country Swim Team operates in the Lake Country area west of Milwaukee. We use pools in Hartland, Delafield and Hartford. Hourly pay would be commensurate with experience. This is a part-time position, 10-15 hours/week. Candidate must be willing to obtain, or have, Lifeguarding and USA Swimming coaching certification.

The McFarland Spartan Sharks, Inc. a non-profit USS swim team is looking for Senior and Age Group Coaches for its 2010-11 Short Course season. Applicants must have the ability to motivate swimmers and have prior swimming or swim coaching experience. Senior and Age Group coaches should maintain a successful partnership with the McFarland School Districts pool staff and high school swimming teams and follow the USA Swimming Code of Conduct. The McFarland High School pool is just minutes south of Madison. Our team has a strong history of swimming success. This past year the Sharks finished their 2009-10 short course season in an impressive manner. The MSS organization is committed to supporting its community of swimmers and coaches. The sharks are:

Grafton High School Swim Team is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated swim coach to assist with both the Varsity and Junior Varsity swim team. Practices are 4 nights a week (No Friday) after school w/ meets. Dates are August 10th through early November. You will be expected to attend the meets with the team and travel. The Waterloo Swim Team is USA Swim club looking for an enthusiastic swim coach who shares the love of swimming and enthusiasm for working with kids! Team size is generally 40-55 swimmers.

A prime candidate should have:

Assistant Swim Coach

Menomonee Falls Swim Club is a year round competitive swim club located in northeast Waukesha County. We have approximately 100 swimmers ranging from novice to Speedo caliber and a staff of 4 coaches. We are in need of an assistant swim coach. Candidates should have a passion for competitive swim, the patience to work with children, the communication skills needed to speak with parents, and a schedule allowing for evening work as well as some weekends. In addition the ideal candidiate:

• Must have or be willing to obtain a USA Coaches certification
• Must have or be willing to obtain or have Lifeguarding Certification.
• Must have or be willing to seek Water Safety Instructor Certification.
