| MISSION STATEMENT
Wisconsin Swimming is the local arm of USA Swimming which is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming. We administer competitive swimming in accordance with the Amateur Sports Act. We provide programs and services for our members and member clubs. We value these members of the swimming community, and the staff and volunteers who serve them. We are committed to excellence and the improvement of our sport, and strive to serve the sport through its core objectives: Build the base, Promote the sport, Achieve competitive success. | August 25, 2010 -- Wisconsin Swimming is hosting a meeting on Sunday, September 26th. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the new USA Swimming rules and guidelines to be finalized at the USA Swimming Convention on September 19th, and how they will affect our LSC, clubs, coaches and non athlete members. | ||||||||||||||||

Janet Evans Clinic | ||||||||||||||||
| August 23, 2010 -- Howard Suamico Storm Breakers (HSSB) are hosting a Fall swim clinic on Sunday September 26th at the Lineville pool in Howard. The clinic will be conducted by Janet Evans- Olympic gold medalist, and Clarke Burckle- a current member of the USA National swim team from Tuscon, Arizona. It will be a four hour clinic from 8-12PM on Sunday morning followed by a 1 hour clinic from 12:30-1:30PM for the younger swimmers-9 and under. BREAKOUT Swim Clinic | ||||||||||||||||
| August 16, 2010 -- J-Hawk Aquatic Club (J-HK) is hosting a Mutual of Omaha BREAKOUT Swim Clinic with Gold Medalist Kate Ziegler, on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at UW - Whitewater's Williams Center Pool. Now also including, Matt Grevers. Matt is the 2008 Olympic Silver medalist in the 100 back. A total-person approach to swimming, a BREAKOUT Swim Clinic can help you bust bad habits, build new skills and uncover hidden talent. The clinic is limited to 84 athletes.
