Swimposium 2010
March 10, 2010 -- Coaches, Meet Directors, Club Registrars, Officials, and all Swimmer Parents - this Swimposium is for you!  Wisconsin Swimming announces the 2010 Swimposium, Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Waukesha County Technical College, Pewaukee, Wisconsin.  Advanced registration fee is $20 per person, $15 per person when four or more persons register on the same form from the same Club.  See the information and registration, below: Registrations are due by April 14, 2010.
Coach/Swimmer of the Year - Short Course
March 10, 2010 -- Coaches: Nomination forms are available for the 2010 Short Course Coach and Swimmer of the Year.  PLEASE take the time to recognize our peers as well as our hard working swimmers.  PLEASE make sure to write a little something about the coach you are nominating as well as the swimmer's accomplishments.

Swim Clinic
March 10, 2010 -- South Eastern Aquatics YMCA (SEAY) is hosting a Mutual of Omaha BREAKOUT Swim Clinic with Gold Medalists Josh Davis and Mark Gangloff, on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Cathage College Koenitzer Aquatic Center.  A total-person approach to swimming, a BREAKOUT Swim Clinic can help you bust bad habits, build new skills and uncover hidden talent. February 26, 2010 -- The 12-Under Psych sheet is now posted at the link, below.  If there are any meet management errors with your entry, you must contact Drew Walden by Wednesday, February 24 by 9:00 P.M. to correct any errors.  No changes will be allowed, only corrections due to meet management errors. Outstanding Service Award
February 10, 2010 -- Nomination forms for the 2010 Outstanding Service Award are now available.  Each year Local Swimming Committees have the opportunity to select a recipient for the Outstanding Service Award.  This award, sponsored by ConocoPhillips, is presented to a volunteer in each LSC in recognition of service to swimming.  Anyone in the LSC can submit a nomination.  Nominations must be in writing and returned to Carol Graham by June 1st.

Central Zone Meet
January 27, 2010 -- Here is an informational flyer for the inaugural Central Zone Senior Championship Meet.  The meet is being held August 5-8, 2010 in Bismarck, North Dakota.  This is the first of several informative documents about this upcoming event.  Unlike the Age Group Zone Championships this event is a "club attended" meet.  Each club within the LSC needs to begin to make plans to send their 15- over athletes to this championship event.  Feel free to contact the meet host organization or the Central Zone Directors for further assistance. Swimmers with a Disability
January 25, 2010 -- The 2010 Spring Can Am Meet will be held in San Antonio March 25 - 27th.  This meet is the trials meet for 2010 LC Worlds to be held in Eindhoven, Netherlands this summer.  Any swimmers with a disability with qualifying times for the meet are encouraged to compete.  Swimmers attending this meet are supported by the Wisconsin LSC travel fund.  For meet information go to: http://www.usparalympics.org/pages/1773.
